Mary Lundquist is a painter and illustrator whose work uses soft colors and tenderly drawn figures and landscapes. She is the author and illustrator of the books Cat & Bunny and The Little Forest Keepers and the illustrator of seven other picture books. Her clients include HarperCollins, Random House, Bloomsbury, and more.
In addition to children's books, Mary is a fine artist working with watercolor, acrylic, and colored pencil. She also creates auto-biographical comics called "Dirt Baby Comics", reflecting her experience as a parent with young children.
Born and raised in Massachusetts, Mary graduated from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston and has since lived in southern California, northern Vermont, by the beach in Cape Cod, three different cities in the UK, the mountains of North Carolina, as well as the beautiful foothills of western Maine. She is currently putting down roots in the town of Princeton, New Jersey with her husband and three kids.
